Special Evening of Bonding & Golf at “Bring Your Mom to Golf Night”

The Ohio Girls Golf Foundation, in partnership with the Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation and the Make Golf Your Thing Foundation, proudly hosted our second annual Bring Your Mom to Golf Night on Friday, May 9 at Fox Den Golf Course in Stow. The event brought together girls ages 8–18 and the female mentors in their lives—mothers, grandmothers, aunts, coaches, and friends—for an inspiring evening of golf, connection, and community.

Participants rotated through interactive skill stations led by PGA Professionals, developing their short game, long game, and putting techniques in a fun and supportive environment. The event also featured lively contests—including a “Best Dressed Mother-Daughter” competition—and a special speaker session where women working in the golf industry shared their career journeys and encouraged the girls to envision their own paths in the sport.

The atmosphere was filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful moments. Thanks to our incredible partners, volunteers, and instructors, the evening was a powerful reminder of how golf can bring people together across generations.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and look forward to creating more opportunities to grow the game and empower girls through golf.
