Rain Couldn’t Stop the Fun at Bring Your Mom to Golf Night

There are some evenings that feel less like an event and more like a scrapbook page coming to life. The Ohio Girls Golf Foundation’s in partnership with the Northern Ohio PGA Section Foundation and Morgan Stanley The Aurora Group, annual Bring Your Mom to Golf Night at Fox Den Golf Course was exactly that kind of night. 🌸⛳

Even though the weather tried to crash the party, a little rain certainly did not dampen the enthusiasm of our participants. Smiles filled the practice areas and umbrellas quickly became just another colorful accessory to a memorable evening celebrating family, friendship, and the game of golf.

One of the most entertaining highlights of the night was our “Best Dressed” contest. Let’s just say… the ladies took this competition very seriously this year. From coordinated golf outfits and bright colors to creative accessories and picture-perfect style, participants arrived ready to bring both their golf swings and their fashion games.

What makes Bring Your Mom to Golf Night so special is the reminder that golf truly is a lifetime sport. It is one of the few games where multiple generations can share the same tee box, create memories together, and continue traditions year after year. We especially love seeing families return annually, including PGA Professional Mary Suitca, who once again brought both her daughter and her mother to join in the fun. Watching three generations enjoy the game together beautifully captured the heart of the evening and the mission of the Ohio Girls Golf Foundation.

Participants also had the opportunity to create something special off the golf course thanks to our beautiful Flower Bar. The ladies went home carrying beautiful floral arrangements, but even more importantly, they left with core memories that will last a lifetime.
